Training Programmes

Around the world, we provide expert training opportunities to make long-lasting improvements in animal welfare. One of our training courses on offer for local and international veterinary professionals, is our surgical training course, which focuses on teaching spaying and neutering skills and learning best practice in animal welfare.

Our International Training Centres (ITCs) act as hubs for treating thousands of animals in need, as well as providing expert training for both local and international veterinary professionals. By offering learning opportunities we are empowering the global veterinary community and raising the standard of care sustainably.

The WVS Academy is an online platform that provides vets across the world with access to high-quality, engaging, relevant, and peer-reviewed resources to guide best clinical practice in any setting. We have created a community for vets from all countries, cultures, and educational institutions to browse resources and progress their skills.

Animal welfare education

Globally we are creating communities that prioritise animal welfare. Through our educational sessions, we are helping communities to live peacefully alongside animals as well to know the keyways to keep our animal friends happy and healthy. Alongside our work in schools, we provide free resources for teachers around the world, to help inspire children to learn about animal welfare.
