Children learn how human changes to the environment pose a danger for living things. They explore how WVS vets work to support endangered animals around the world.
Children research some of the animals WVS care for that have been affected by plastic pollution. They consider the actions they can take to reduce the impact of plastic on the environment.
Children consider different perspectives on the illegal wildlife trade, helping them to understand the challenges and dilemmas faced by those involved. They discover how WVS and other charities are actively working to stop animal trafficking.
Children understand the impact of infrastructure development by learning about the consequences unsafe powerlines have on vulnerable species in Costa Rica. They explore how WVS supports other charities campaigning to reduce the conflict between humans and wildlife.
