Parcels and Teams
87 parcels totalling a value of £26,187.71 were dispatched globally this month to charities and animals in need.
Meanwhile in Thailand we have seen 2 training courses take place and 1 outreach project and in India we have seen 3 surgical training courses take place in Goa and 2 surgical training courses take place in Ooty. We have also sent out veterinary teams to Bhutan, South Africa, Malawi, Uganda, India, Thailand, Laos and Peru.
Thailand
A great month for WVS Thailand, our work is more influential than ever and our team are doing a great job! We were lucky enough to welcome a contingent of 4 Laos vets to our training course and they all slotted in seamlessly. Bhutan
As mentioned earlier, we sent a team out to the Bhutan Animal Rescue and Care Centre. The team came across a variety of different cases that challenged our team hugely. Our volunteers were great and we hope to be back out in Bhutan soon!
