60,000 incredible AJ Bell Great North Run participants run from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields each year to fundraise, have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community, no matter their experience or ability. From the rush of the Red Arrows flying overhead to the oggy-oggy-oggy chants, Great North Run magic can be hard to understand – until you’ve experienced it for yourself.

Like you, we don't think this is fair.
Worldwide Veterinary Service provides free expert care to animals in need all over the world. We do this by sending vets where they are needed most, training them to increase the standard of care globally, and by shipping urgent aid supplies worldwide, every week of the year. By taking part in the event for Worldwide Veterinary Service and fundraising on our behalf, you’ll help ensure animals living in some of the world's poorest and most isolated areas receive the veterinary care they deserve.
