Volunteer to Help Teach on our Working Equine Course in India

Help the WVS India team at the International Training Centre to train international vet students and new graduates in working equine health and welfare. Available all year round.

This volunteer position will be helping the ITC staff run our new working equine health and welfare training courses for Indian and international vet students and new graduates.

Volunteers will be helping the ITC staff run training courses and outreach clinics which teach participants about the importance of horse and donkey welfare and treating the issues and injuries that affect working equines.

WVS India team has conducted regular street clinics for working equines, especially donkeys, in Southern India and the results of this work clearly shows what a significant improvement the clinics have done for the life of the working donkeys.

The course is a great opportunity for those wishing to gain more confidence in treating working equines as well as for those who plan to work in other animal health, welfare & development programs in developing countries in the future.
