Murdoch University Students Raise Funds for WVS

Thu 11th Dec 2014

When we said we needed an Iso machine, we were amazed by the response of the veterinary students of Murdoch University ....

The Australia-based students took part in an amazing push for funds including hosting a BBQ, a quiz night, as well as auctioning off a parking space at the university.

With all this effort they were able to raise an incredible $3063 AUD dollars towards buying an anaesthetic machine for WVS. The machines can cost up to thousands and will go a long way to maintaining animal welfare in India. Thanks to everyone involved!

Student, Amy Nagatani said;

''I'm glad that we could be of help! I'm sure that this will benefit animal welfare in India directly and indirectly through providing students and Indian vets with the experience and knowledge of how to use the machine safely.''

Following this the students went to the ITC based in India and were able to experience first hand the difference that the machine made.
