Mission Rabies has launched

Mon 2nd Sep 2013

Mission Rabies, our largest project to date officially launched in Goa on the 31st August. The launch marked the start of the ambitious rabies vaccination drive of 50,000 dogs across India during the month of September. In India, one child dies every hour through being bitten by a rabid dog as well as thousands of healthy dogs are indiscriminately killed through the fear of this deadly disease. Mission Rabies aims to stop these horrific statistics.

Teams of volunteers will be working at 10 different rabies hotspots from the north of India down to the south, partnering with animal welfare organisations in each area to achieve their goals.
