Adoption Day for Two Playful Kittens at Our Hicks ITC

Fri 27th Oct 2017

Sunday 29th October marks the annual National Cat Day, and what better way to showcase the occasion than by celebrating two of our recent kitten adoptions!

Our Hicks International Training Centre in Goa facilitates the fostercare and adoption of many abandoned and homeless dogs and cats that come into the centre for treatment. Each year, hundreds of animals find loving homes through this scheme, who would otherwise be left on the streets to fend for themselves.

A WVS volunteer set up an interactive play station for the young kittens that are currently calling our ITC home. This magical place really showcases their playful nature for future adopters, whilst allowing them to truly be kittens and make the most out of their time with us.

It certainly worked for this kind gentleman! He visited our centre with the hope of adopting a dog to join his family, but was completely taken in by these two kittens playing together. They're now looking forward to going home with him and meeting their new family.

It is thanks to the dedication and initiative of our volunteers and WVS team, and the supporters in Goa and further afield that we are able to find new homes for so many of these animals in need! Please consider a donation to help support our work. Thank you!
