Here at WVS, our teams of vets, vet nurses and volunteers are working every day to relieve the suffering of animals all around the world. Our teams provide vital veterinary care in places where it is not accessible, treating animals who have no-one else. But we can only do all of this thanks to our kind supporters, donors and people like you!
Taking on a fundraising challenge is an amazing way to reach new heights, do something you’ve always wanted to do, all whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.
Every penny you raise can make a huge difference to animals in need. Even just 20 pence is enough to de-worm a donkey that is working hard to provide a living for a family living in rural India.
Your hard work and fundraising could help us provide loads of important supplies or send out teams in response to emergency cases.
· £1 could pay for dressings for a working equine, or flea and tick treatment for a stray dog
· £12 would pay for a 2kg parcel of lifesaving supplies to go to a struggling animal charity
· £100 could fund a brand new surgical kit for a vet working in the field on humane stray animal population control
· £2,500 would cover all the medication and equipment needed to strerilise 100 street dogs
· £8,000 enables us to run a comprehensive surgical training course for 12 vets or vet students to learn best practice surgical techniques
Your fundraising could help all kinds of animals, from helping us provide important diagnostic equipment to a chimpanzee sanctuary, to providing the necessary flea, tick and de-worming medicine for hundreds of street dogs and cats.
